Interdisciplinary Group in Development Studies (IGDS)
The Interdisciplinary Group in Development Studies supports a series of dialogues centered on current development-related scholarship undertaken by Emory graduate students and faculty. These meetings take place during the semester and consist of a 10-15 minute presentation of current research on which the presenter would like feedback; a 10-15 minute response by a faculty member from a department different from that of the presenter; and an open discussion by other participants (graduate students, faculty, and invited undergraduates). The meeting, including the open discussion, is chaired by a faculty member of the Development Studies Program.
